24 Hours of Videogameson October 12, 2010 at 2:11 pm
UPDATE: The goal has been met! And that’s awesome, BUT, we (well Victor more than me, but still) encourge you to donate any amount you’d like to. Remember, it’s for a good cause. Give those kids an extra life.
Hey there people!
Came back from New York City Comic Con which was all sorts of awesome! And a little review will come soon about it, but right now I’d like to direct your attention to something else.
My best friend Victor is going to play video games for 24 hours straight this next Saturday (the 16th, and it’s going to be the same deal as my 24 hours comic thingie, from midnight to midnight), not only because he’s demented like myself (although, his challenge sounds more fun than mine), but as well, because he’s helping to collect money for a children’s hospital. Here is a more detailed LINK about the whole thing. I’m guessing is a standard form he had to fill because he really doesn’t live in Buffalo (although, now I kinda wish he did and I could just easily go there WHILE I was still in NY).
He’s going to do some video testing and broadcasting of the event, I dunno if he’s going to broadcast the 24 hours, but step every now or then on his UStream channel and see what’s going on. I’ll be showing up in some games online and I’ll go to his place for a while as well, so hey, if you guys are around, I’ll be the entretainment of the event.
So now you know! Step in for a while, see some cool games, and help a little bit to his cause, even if you only donate $1 is more than enough.
