Huzzah! Looks like he’s taking a page from Wyliman’s book when it comes to situations like these finally.
Also, is the the first time we’ve seen his eyes without his trademark sunglasses? (Open at least.)

Yep, he pretty much went with the flow finally.
And yep, at least fully open, this is the first time Mackenn has been seen without his glasses on.
I have a question. When did the segregation between human and beast happen? Did that resolve in the Wyliman universe?
Well, that’s the thing, Mackenn is the only walking talking animal in the Wyliman universe. I won’t go into detail because I might one day explain that on the comic, but let just say that he’s more of a metaphor.
